Name : Kayla Giddings School : San Marino Sport : Cross County Year : Junior Noteworthy : Giddings, the SGV's reigning girls athlete of the year after competing in cross country, soccer and track last season, got off to a good start at the Bell Jeff/Sacred Heart Cross Country Invitational over the weekend, finishing in first place in 19:47.5 over the 2.94 mile course at Griffith Park. It followed her second-place finish at the Rosemead cross country Invitational on Sept. 9, and a fifth-place finish at a seeded race at the Woodbridge Cross Country Classic.
