has bought a 116,200-square-foot office building in Torrance for $24.8 million. An affiliate of the Sawtelle-based investor bought DYAD South Bay, a two-story campus at 19700 and 19750 South Vermont Avenue, the Los Angeles Business Journal reported. The seller was a firm owned by funds managed by Westport Capital Partners, based in Connecticut. The price came out to $213 per square foot. The 5-acre property, renovated in 2020, is 92-percent leased. Brokers Steve Solomon, Mark Schuessler, Sean Fulp, Ryan Plummer and Kristen Bowman of Colliers represented both the buyer and seller in the deal.
